The PSX (Pakistan Stock Exchange) is Pakistan's stock market, where shares of listed companies are bought and sold. Its headline benchmark is the KSE-100 index.

When you buy a stock, you're buying a small ownership stake in a real company through the PSX, via a licensed broker. It's regulated by the SECP. Most equity investing in Pakistan happens here.

In Pakistan: you access it with a CDC sub-account plus a brokerage account.

Example: buying shares of a large, established company on the PSX makes you a part-owner who shares in its profits.

Don't confuse it with: PMEX — the commodities exchange for gold and the like.
